Another Greyt Reunion

MSGAO thanks all the people and greyhounds who made the 2014 reunion a greyt success!  Humans and dogs got into the steampunk theme:  The League of ReunionExtraordinary Greyhounds!  In addition to thanking all the attendees, volunteers and vendors who contributed to a fabulous evening, we also thank Southland Park Gaming & Racing for providing the reunion experience we all shared.  Without Southland we would have no fabulous walk on the track, no fabulous complimentary cocktails and goodies trackside, no fabulous room in which to have our event, and no fabulous food  (and it was yummy). Southland staff are greyt and were a big help in setting up the tables and whatever assistance we needed. Thanks go out to Troy L. Keeping, Shane Bolender and all the folks at Southland for all they do for the greyhounds and MSGAO!

Unique Items to Be Auctioned at Reunion

The Silent Auction and Live Auctions at this year’s Reunion on Oct. 11 at Southland Park Gaming and Racing will have some of the most unique greyhound items for collectors out there! We have one-of-a-kind art pieces that were created just for this Reunion, and several pieces of furniture that make all of us want to bid. To top that, Ray Wong, a race dog owner, has generously donated the NAMING RIGHTS of two 18-month of female racers!

Other Things You Need to Know
ACTIVITIES
Cocktail hour on the track side apron, parade of adopted dogs on the race track, contests and shopping galore with auctions and vendors!

PARKING AND ENTRY
Due to ongoing construction, parking will be different than in previous years. There are two entrances that you and your hounds can use.

The South Entrance, which is the entrance that we have used in the past, is now a temporary entrance to the east of the original entrance. Once you enter, a security guard can guide you to the location of the cocktail hour. Ask for directions to the apron on the track side. Parking will be tight at this entrance, so you may want to use the other entrance available to us.

There is more parking available to the northwest of the building and new construction. It is farther away; however, you can use the entry by the 583 Starting Block. This entrance is through the double gates near the track, and it takes you straight to the track apron. Walk down the apron to the cocktail area for the Reunion.
