Happy Howl-idays!

Bandita (aka Marlene’s Cookie) wishes all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year (as well as happy Hanukkah and whatever other holidays you may observe). She is celebrating her first holidays with her new family. Bandita recently was adopted by Judy & Mike Losey.

Greyhounds according to the VlogBrothers

The vlogbrothers have put together an adorable video on Greyhounds! It’s a must watch! :)

“She’s a herp-a-derp-apotomus!”

Seize the Clay, Make an Ornament!

Do you crave one of these babies for your Christmas tree (or for any other holiday decor)? You have a chance to make one of your very own Dec. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seize the Clay at 3084 Poplar in Memphis (near the main library).

Cost is $10 per person ($5 for additional greyhound ornaments). We will have a limited number of 2012 Greyhound Calendars ($12) & MSGAO t-shirts ($12) also available for sale at the party. Please bring cash or checks. We are not able to take credit cards. Also, you can pay at the door. We are trying something new this year — a potluck dinner. We have a sign-up sheet with the following food categories:
– Cut up vegetables and dip
– Cut up fruit
– Sandwich platter
– Chips and dip
– Desserts
– Drinks

If you are able to bring something, please email Renée Dingler at [email protected]. If you are not able to bring something, PLEASE COME ANYWAY!

(This is a people-only party. No greyhounds please.)

Renee Dingler, better known as the person behind MSGAO’s “Run with It” e-newsletter, prepares clay for its eventual transformation to greyhound ornaments during the fund-raising event Dec. 13 at Seize the Clay.
